Come Out of Her

I can’t imagine being born into this thing or living most of my life under its yolk. I look at celebrities when they first started out to who they are now, to who they’ve become, and I’m astounded at the transformation. They become a completely different person, unrecognizable in some cases, and so far removed from who they used to be. It’s the complete opposite of being a born-again Christian. We are born again through Christ always striving (and failing) to be more Christ-like. They are born again through another spirit and transformed into something they know not.

I guess the rain will come eventually, though the radar looks depressingly bare.

Let me know if River Phoenix and Kurt Cobain return from the realm of the almost dead – there, I said it, seriously, this is what I’m waiting on. My life is either an extraordinary contribution to history or a sad and pathetic example of trauma, abuse, and mental illness. Me thinks it’s probably all of the above.
