The number 236 on the old blue truck represents a phylogenetic tree or an evolutionary tree. There is a total of 236 different phylogenetic trees that represent the history of evolutionary divergences among species. A phylogenetic tree is a branching diagram or “tree” showing the evolutionary relationships among various biological species or other entities. It can be thought of as a “tree of life” which arose from ancient notions of a ladder-like progression from lower to higher forms of life. In other words, evolution. After passing through the fire early Halloween morning, River was grafted into a tree whose fruits are out of this world yet after his own kind: the flesh.

Used in esoteric Judaism, the Tree of Life is a mystical symbol that represents the spiritual path of the ascent of man. It contains 10 sephirots (a Hebrew word that literally means “counting”) or eleven when including all ten as one whole. It also contains 22 paths that lead to each of the ten sephirots. Although presented as a sort of spiritual guide to enlightenment, the Kabalistic Tree of Life is less about spiritual transformation and more about physical transformation. More accurately, the ten sephirots represent the ten major organ systems of the human body:

  1. Circulatory System –Heart, blood vessels, etc
  2. Digestive System – mouth, stomach, etc
  3. Endocrine System – pituitary, thyroid, etc
  4. Integumentary System – skin, sweat glands, etc
  5. Muscular System
  6. Nervous System – brain, spinal cord, nerves
  7. Respiratory System – lungs, larynx, etc
  8. Skeletal System
  9. Urinary System – kidneys, bladder, etc
  10. Reproductive System

The eleventh sephirot represents the new human being that is formed after passing through the fire unto death. In the diagram featured above, “the hidden” sephirot “Da’at” (meaning knowledge) represents all ten sephirots united as one revealing a Divine Light. When the golden gods take over the brain via neurons (cells), the result is a physical transformation.

Sometimes referred to as the Hermaphrodite Child of the Sun and Moon, the alchemical child is a term used to describe the finished product of The Great Work in occult teachings. In the above image, Baphomet (the beast) points to the heavens with his right arm while his left arm points down towards the earth. We see this same symbolism with Ray Brower. It represents the spirit world coming together with the material world to produce a new life form. Baphomet is the hermaphrodite child. Like turning base metals into gold, he/she represents the physical transformation of the dying gods into (what we have come to know as) the grey aliens.

In 1918, Aleister Crowley (who often referred to himself as the Beast 666) claimed to have been in contact with an entity known as Lam. He sketched out a picture of what he said this entity looked like, and it bears a striking resemblance to what would later be known as the grey alien. However, it has also been suggested that this sketch was actually a self-portrait. I would venture to say that it is both.

Going up from the nose to the forehead is what looks to be a tree, a phylogenetic tree (if you will), or a Kabalistic Tree of Life. The shading around the trunk of the tree, just above the actual eyes, appear the elongated eyes of the grey alien. And so, we have the earthly realm coming together with the spiritual realm to form the beast 666. We have the alien, Aleister Crowley.

Boxcar trains and protein chains

The 22 paths on the Kabalistic Tree of Life actually represent the 22 genetically encoded amino acids. Amino acids are responsible for creating proteins and can be thought of as the letters of the words of the book of DNA. Both DNA and RNA function together in the human body, one keeping the genetic information and the other decoding that information. After passing through the fire, the physical transformation occurs when the amino acids are gathered together, rearranged, and folded into a new structure, a retrovirus where DNA is transcribed into RNA, and then RNA is translated into proteins. Like resetting the biological clock, all ten organ systems fall under the rule of the new genetic code.

We can think of these amino acid chains (or proteins) as one long train with each boxcar representing a book of prophecy. After passing through the fire, victims become lost in the forest of their own minds, taken by the evil net of subliminal messages. Whether from music, movies, social media, or even their own words and dreams, the puzzle pieces of the subconscious mind come back to haunt them. Like the Choose Your Own Adventure books, victims are led down predetermined paths, and so it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy initiated by the golden gods. These messages and images are burned into the subconscious mind just like they are burned onto film, as was the case with River.

The train that knocked Ray Brower right out of his blue Keds symbolizes the chain of amino acids that fell into place during translation. The letters became words as the new book of life unfolded and “Setec Astronomy” became “too many secrets.” This anagram was taken from the movie, Sneakers, in which River played a computer hack. He and his friends recover a black box from a mathematician named, Dr. Gunter Janek, who developed the box under a project he named “Setec Astronomy.” River’s character, Carl, and his friends discover that the box is capable of breaking the encryption of nearly every computer system. They then discover the anagram “too many secrets.”

Here’s the translation: the mathematician doctor symbolizes the alien or golden god. A “gunter” is a type of sail, and the name “Janek” means “God is gracious.” So, just like the number 236 written on the old blue truck in Stand by Me (with the circular, square, and triangular numbers eventually adding up to 666), we have another example of this alien god, this mathematician, writing a new book of life. We can think of the human body as a computer system, and the black box (under Project Setec Astronomy) as the virus that rewrites the code. It is disguised as an answering machine in the film symbolizing the fruition of the word or the fulfillment of prophecy. It is the final account given by the mathematician god. However, the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, is the true Mathematician.

In Genesis chapter 17, God makes his covenant with Abram by circumcision. “Circum” meaning around and “cision” meaning separation. Abram’s name is changed to Abraham and he becomes the father of many nations. The chapter contains 27 verses. Abraham’s circumcision symbolizes being separated from the flesh, a contract with God that he and his seed shall be God’s people. Chapter 17 is the account of that binding contract in 27 verses. In Ecclesiastes chapter 7, verse 27, which contains 17 words, we are told that we find out the account by counting:

“Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account:” (Ecclesiastes 7:27 KJV)

So, here we have the account (17) of the contract (27) written in the flesh of Abraham via the circumcision. Flip that upside down and you get the covenant (the binding circumcision) of another god. Interestingly, Ecclesiastes 7 is the 666th chapter of the King James Bible. The New Testament contains 27 books (the account of our new covenant with Jesus Christ), there are 27 bones in the human hand, and the cube of 3 is 27 — the godhead (or trinity) cubed. Here, we have Dr. Gunter’s black box (or cube) equaling the contract written in the flesh. Here, we have the number of a beast. The number 27 equals the hanged man. Judas hanged himself in the 27th Chapter of Matthew, and Jesus died on the cross in that same chapter. In the world of pop culture, numerous musicians have died at the age of 27 from suicides and drug overdoses, thus becoming known as The 27 Club. By the hand of the mathematician god, “setec astronomy” became “too many secrets,” or more to the point, too many subliminal messages.

This is the craft of the golden gods where Setec Astronomy translates to sea technology. The word “technology” literally means “science of craft” or in this case, witchcraft. We can think of the sea as the spirit realm or space where the stars expel their light. It is the sea of witchcraft, the unholy see, or the shining sea where Ace Merrill and the golden gods govern with their prophecies.

While Stand by Me was the devil’s DNA for River, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade helped bring that prophecy to light. Like Ray Brower picking blueberries before getting hit by a train, Indiana Jones was another breadcrumb that led River to his death.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

We see this concept of “the prophecy train” played out in the beginning scene of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. River plays a young Indy who steals a golden crucifix from a group of grave robbers. They give chase through a circus train as Indy jumps from boxcar to boxcar trying to escape. The fact that it’s a circus train also holds significance. After passing through the fire, victims/initiates find themselves in a different world full of strange spectacles, oddities, and impossible feats that seem to form a circus tent around their lives. Like the covering cherub, Lucifer, the golden gods present themselves as the most High after taking over the genetic wheel.

The traveling circus is named Dunn & Duffy Combined Circus, with both names derived from words meaning dark, dark-colored, or black. This not only refers to being linked together with a dying god but also the dying gods themselves being linked together. And, like the black box from Sneakers, the boxcars represent the binding contract of the word of those golden gods in the flesh.

The boxcar full of snakes symbolizes the devil’s DNA. In the Garden of Eden, Satan (disguised as the serpent) spoke 46 words to Eve persuading her to eat of the fruit. Humans have a total of 46 chromosomes in each cell with 23 from each parent. As fate would have it, River was 23 when he collapsed outside of the Viper Room, or more to the point, the snake room.

And then we have the Den of Lion’s boxcar – think Daniel in the den of lions. Daniel, the 27th chapter of the Bible. The Lion of the Tribe of Juda worthy of opening the book. The unfolding of prophecy. The devil as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

Young Indy stands on top of the boxcar depicting a clown’s face encircled in blue with a gold star on each side. Here we have the fool, the initiate bathed in the water/word of the golden gods, and the two gold stars (Dunn & Duffy) linked together with the initiate.

The fool jumps onto the giraffe boxcar and begins to see the bigger picture. The two long necks with their heads in the clouds, the two rungs of DNA, the two dying gods, and the very same prophecy embedded into his own flesh. He sees the writing on the wall and confronts his own shadow.

Which brings us back to the knife. Young Indy is confronted by a knife-wielding red-head signifying the word in the blood. Like Chris Chambers coming full circle and dying in a knife fight, it represents falling upon his own sword. The backwards writing, the red letters on a yellow banner, and the yellow sash around his neck (like the red-headed clown) signifies the hanged man, the completion of the water cycle, and the translation of the word.

Young Indy then finds himself in the reptile boxcar where he falls into a pit of snakes. Here, we have River collapsing outside of the Viper Room. Young Indy is covered in snakes signifying being passed through the fire – his last crusade. His mouth is a perfect oval which symbolizes the cosmic egg or his rebirth into a golden god. If all of this sounds like pure conjecture, well, wait.

Young Indy then enters into the last boxcar which is labeled “Doctor Fantasy’s Magic Caboose.”

His face is covered in dirt as he looks up at the sign which goes from brown to white or dirty to clean. His dirty face signifies seeing his own shadow or coming too close to the sun. Like the boy’s image on the tree with blackface theatrical makeup, he sets himself on fire by deciphering the hidden word. Doctor Fantasy aka Dr. Gunter Janek, is the mathematician god, or more to the point, the alien, who transforms him into a god, thereby, removing the spot (the ace) and making him clean, or white, or transparent like a ghost, like light.

Once inside the magic caboose, Young Indy hides inside of a blue box. This scene, in particular, is especially eerie as the blue box is quite similar in color to the actual coffin in which River was placed after his death. We also see an old drip coffee pitcher in the foreground of the scene signifying the flood or being passed through the fire. It is the word (water) in the flesh, heated, turned black, and brought to fruition.

A Baphomet goat or jester (the fool) is painted on the top of the blue box, both images representing the same concept. In a tarot deck, the fool or jester is one of the 22 major arcana (trump cards, 22 amino acids) and is often numbered as zero. So, here we have the fool, the jester, or the clown in the middle (zero) signifying the dying god (alive but dead). Young Indy crawls inside the box and disappears as the box collapses and flattens out revealing a red interior.

Notice the legs of a red and white clown suit dangling from the ceiling. The hanged man or the fool ascends to meet his fate in the astral plane.

But there’s more going on in the picture below:

In the far right corner we see what looks to be a duck of some sort, think of a duck treading water, constantly paddling its feet as it slowly glides towards its destination. The red box with the white writing above its head symbolizes the fruition of the word, that word being the big blue “A” hanging behind Young Indy, the big “A” like Ace Merrill, the blue spot, the blue point. The red box with the white writing links back to the child on the tree in the forest, the one in the red coveralls with the white stars and the blue mask across his eyes. And to the left of Indy’s head we see a silver cross, and to the far left a picture of a giraffe, the dying god who takes to the skies.

These are the subliminal images and messages that get stuck inside the subconscious mind. And after passing through the fire, after learning the lingo of this occult system (the sea, the duck, the clown, cherries, trains, blueberries, the color blue, the color red, all the colors of the rainbow, the mouse, the skunk, cats and dogs, the white door with the sun shining through the glass) nothing is what it seems and everything holds significance.

Young Indy is then seen running down the railroad tracks as he makes his final escape, which brings us back to the golden crucifix he stole from the grave robbers.

The railroad tracks signify climbing the DNA ladder as he runs towards the mountains and to the skies. The golden crucifix symbolizes the hanged man or the dying god to whom he was linked. And so, he comes full circle being born again of that shared seed. He too, becomes the oil fueling the light from the lantern.

The Cosmic Egg

In ancient Greek, the orphic egg is the cosmic egg from which hatched the hermaphroditic deity Phanes/Protogonus (variously equated with Zeus, Pan, Metis and Bromius) who in turn created other gods. The egg is often depicted with a serpent wound about it.

Aleister Crowley’s sketch not only resembles a tree coming up from the bridge of his nose, but the fullness of that tree also resembles an egg. In the third photo, Robin Williams as Mork (from Mork and Mindy) emerges from a cracked egg in a red space suit with a silver triangle pointing down. He is the hermaphroditic deity (the alien) who, in turn, creates other gods. Here, we have another depiction of the heavenly realm coming together with the earthly realm. Mork (the alien) is also the dying god to whom Mindy is linked, and together, they form another orphic egg.

This cosmic egg is created from the components of man’s DNA, namely, sugar-phosphates. Phosphates are compounds made up of phosphorus which is essential for life. The name “phosphorus” was taken from Greek mythology meaning “light-bearer” or in its Latin form “Lucifer.” So, the sugar-phosphates of Mindy’s DNA link her together with the dying god, like an invisible ladder, descending and ascending, providing nourishment to the evolving hermaphrodite child in the egg. Because it is highly reactive, phosphorus is never found as a free element on earth, but in space it is produced during a supernova or the explosion of a star. So, we have the golden gods or the light-bearers (lucifers), born from the death of a star and nourished by the sugar-phosphates contained in man’s DNA. Like lightning, they flow like plasma in the blood carrying the cells and proteins to and fro until a new god is born.

Perhaps this is what people are seeing when they look to the skies and see a glowing snake-like structure – the phosphorus ascending and descending, carrying the cells and proteins to and fro, the reptile eventually evolving into a new hermaphrodite child, a new baphomet, or a new alien being.

“They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.” (Isaiah 59:5 KJV)

As above so below

River’s genetic code was played out in Stand by Me when Gordie Lachance fired off a gun outside of the Blue Point Diner. The clear part of the planchette on the blue truck pointed to the number three representing (not only the godhead) but also the three nucleotides, or the codon of his new genetic code. A codon is a sequence of three nucleotides that together form a unit of genetic code in DNA and RNA. If a stop codon (termination of translation) is not inserted, the RNA folds and forms a hairpin loop. The chain of nucleotides is translated into proteins, thus, the word is made flesh.

DNA and RNA strands have upstream and downstream terminus defined by differing chemical groups at each end. The ends of each strand are termed the 5’ (phosphate bound to the 5’ position carbon) and 3’ (phosphate bound to the 3’ carbon) ends. Bring these two ends together and we have, not only the hairpin loop (coming full circle) but also the number 88.

A quick Google search for the number 88 produces a long list of references and occurrences. In the film Back to the Future, 88mph is the speed that the DeLorean must attain in order to travel in time. There are 88 constellations in the night sky. 88 Minutes is a 2008 film starring Al Pacino. There are 88 keys on a piano (36 black and 52 white). The dead man’s hand in poker is a pair of aces and a pair of 8’s. Neo-Nazi’s use the number 88 as an abbreviation for the Nazi salute Heil Hitler. The letter “H” is eighth in the alphabet, whereby 88 becomes HH. The word “pit” appears 88 times in the KJ Bible. Psalms 88 is a chapter that centers on death and going down into the pit. Clearly, the number 88 is significant.

The above model of transfer RNA depicts the anticodon and amino acid attachment regions. The cloverleaf structure is formed by hairpin loops that result from hydrogen bonding and is responsible for the connection between every codon, anti-codon and amino acid. It also resembles the hanged man. The hairpin loops are key building blocks of secondary structures of RNA. A hairpin loop is an unpaired loop of messenger RNA that is created when the strand folds and forms base pairs with another section of the same strand. It usually occurs when a nucleotide sequence is complementary when read in opposite directions. In other words, the RNA strand cleaves to itself forming a double helix by way of a palindromic sequence.

A palindrome is a word, phrase, number or sequence spelled the same way backwards and forwards. They are also found in biological structures, specifically DNA and RNA, when a single-stranded sequence is equal to its corresponding sequence read backwards. The chains of sugar and phosphate molecules create a ‘backbone’ strand for a single or double helix. In any one strand, the chemical orientation (directionality) of the chains runs from the 5′-end to the 3′-end (read: 5 prime-end to 3 prime-end)—referring to the five carbon sites on sugar molecules in adjacent nucleotides.

So, what does all of this mean? The implication is that after being passed through the fire, RNA becomes its own book of DNA, like a virus, creating its own backbone. Once the transcript is finished and prophecy has been fulfilled, it cleaves to itself by way of a hairpin loop. Like the backwards writing on the yellow banner from Indiana Jones, the nucleotides flow in the opposite direction forming a double helix by way of a palindromic sequence. Here, we have the number 88, which, like the flattened-out blue box, flattens out into infinity. It is the cosmic egg needed to travel through space at 88mph.

The clover-leaf structure of transfer RNA also resembles the triquetra. Although sometimes used to symbolize the trinity in Christianity, the triquetra is an ancient Celtic image used by eastern mystics. It represents being linked to, or bound to a dying god, who, in turn, is linked to an alien, whose very existence is made possible by the serpent’s seed. And it’s this seed, this threefold cord, this 666 concept that makes all of this possible.

This hairpin loop is also exemplified by the ouroboros, a symbol used in Gnosticism and, most notably, alchemy. It is an ancient symbol (originating in ancient Egyptian iconography) depicting a dragon or serpent eating its own tail. It is said to represent an eternal cycle of renewal with the tail representing a phallic symbol and the mouth a womb-like symbol. This is the meaning behind River’s oval-shaped mouth in the reptile boxcar. Covered in snakes, he ate his own tail and became the enlightened fool. Giving birth to the cosmic egg, he went on to travel the astral plane (or space) as a dying god, born again of corruptible seed and grafted into that cursed tree.

Never Odd or Even

River formed his band Aleka’s Attic in 1987, and although they never released an official album, they toyed with such titles as Zero and Never Odd or Even, the latter of the two being a palindrome. In fact, at least two of their song titles, Dog god and Senile Felines, were also palindromes. When asked about choosing the band’s name, River often explained, “Aleka is a fictional poet philosopher who gathered friends in his attic to discuss his ideas. When Aleka dies they form a band to share his beliefs with others through music.”

We can think of River as Aleka, the name meaning “man’s defender” and attic is perhaps symbolic of the brain. Judging by the song titles and tentative album titles, it’s evidence enough to suggest that River at least had a working knowledge of the concepts described above. Aleka (River) became the dying god after his fall at the Viper Room. He then gathered his friends in the attic (through their collective brains) who are also linked in with these golden gods, and now River, the newly formed god.

In a song titled, In the Corner Dunce, River actually sings about dying and returning as a ghost. Written when he was eighteen at about the same time he filmed Indiana Jones, he ends the song by singing “In the corner like a dunce it’s all self-conscious thought.” Here, we have an admittance of being the enlightened fool (the dunce), cornered by his fate. But there’s more going on here.

There’s a “you” element that begs the question, who is he talking about? The person who has essentially appointed him to die, who is it? He repeats the lyric “it’s over you, you’re under me,” which implies that this “you” person is above and below, or more to the point, the dying god (below) and the alien (above). The hole in the ozone in which he refers, is more than likely less about the environment and more about the o-zone or the realm of the golden gods – space, zero gravity. He is then welcomed back with a marching band, most likely a reference to River returning as a golden god himself. Like Aleka, he gathered his friends in the attic, linked in to those he left behind, and filled the hole in the o-zone.

In the Corner Dunce

There’s a hole in my hat,
shows a near miss grazing
my scalp and my hand
are the only injuries
I’ll stand if I can
When I fall forget me

Will you respond if I float in?
Yes, welcome me back
with a marching band

There’s a hole in the ozone,
So life’s worth giving up
and when I do, now,
won’t you please forgive me
It’s not that I’ve lost
‘Cause in a way,
well, I’ve been winning.

Will you respond if I limp in?
Welcome me back
with a marching band.

There’s part of you
that can’t help
but to see right through
this part of me,
and so when I go around
round and I hit the town,
and when I can’t be found,
then you wait for sounds.
Well it’s over you,
you’re under me,
and if it’s the way it should be
then I won’t bother
Your point of view
it’s appointed me
So when you hear a loud sound
it means I’m back from town
Now all this night is on my side.

Ooh like a sitting duck,
floating like a swan
then flying like a dove
Ooh, la, like a sitting duck,
floating like a swan
 and it’s all afterthought.

There’s a toll at the bridge
If I pay I’m giving in
and if I don’t then I
could always swim it
With wings I could fly
and avoid the risk of sinking

Will you respond if I float in?
By now I’ve forgotten
how to use my fins
There’s a part of you
that can’t help
but to see right through
this part of me
And so when I go around
round and I hit the town
and when I can’t be found
found then you wait for sounds
Well it’s over you, you’re under me,
and if it’s the way it should be
then I won’t bother
Your point of view
it’s appointed me, died
And when you hear a loud sound
that means I’m back from town now

I rarely get to feel, you know,
I hardly ever feel in place
Like a sitting duck,
floating like a swan
then flying like a dove.
Ooh, la la, it’s my faulty love
In the corner like a dunce
it’s all self-conscious thought.

Like a sitting duck in the corner, River too, saw the symbolism of that blue coffin in his last crusade.

We see this concept played out in another song, titled, Blue Period. Reminiscent of the Blue Point diner in Stand by Me, Blue Period is most likely directed at the dying god responsible for the prophecy embedded on the old blue truck. The song even includes the line, “I’ll never know the ghost that wears your clothes,” a possible reference to the golden god. The song ends with the verse “our sentence ends with a blue period,” and so it did by the completion of the Stand by Me prophecy. The use of the word “sentence” also brings to mind amino acids and the word in his DNA, the Blue Point equaling the Blue Period.

Blue Period
(Lyrics by River Phoenix. Vocals by Josh McKay)

I never thought I
could see such blue
as the ice I fell into
I never thought I
could feel such blue
as the chill now embracing you

Most of us know where to go
when we need someone
But I’m a fool, too out of reach
I believe no one
This is not the way
I want to see your face
and this change could be
the death of you and me
Because I opened the door
to such blue livid flesh
How the blood shows through
(as sunken veins withdraw from you)
If I could draw a conclusion here
I’d say that the end draws near

Most of us have somewhere
safe to escape from the cold
But we’ve exhausted any trust
to think we could hold
And I’ll never know the ghost
that wears your clothes
And you must not know
how close to the edge I go
This is not the way
I want to see your face
Your desperate eyes reach me
as blue as blue could be

Our sentence ends
with a blue period
Our sentence ends
with a blue period

River refers to himself as “a fool” in the song which brings us back to The Fool tarot card. He stands on the precipice of a cliff with a white flower in his left palm and a bindle over his shoulder like a hobo. The sun is shining down directly upon him as a white dog stays at his heels. The card is numbered zero, or, never odd or even. The flower symbolizes the fruition of the word (the blossom or fruit of the seed planted), and the bag over the shoulder represents that he is traveling on with his baggage behind him. The sun symbolizes his enlightenment. In River’s case, the flower represents his death at the Viper Room, the bindle represents being born again as a golden god, and the sun symbolizes being passed through the fire. The white dog at his heels represents the subconscious mind. It is the seed planted that can’t be ignored, nipping at the heels of the victim and waiting to be set free.

“As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.” (Proverbs 26:11 KJV)
